Scholars Information Services announces the end of beta operations and the rollout of annual program review services. Because of its specialty in name search and address location services, directors of grant programs wanting to embark on longitudinal studies will also find the Company’s services a valuable investment. The company successfully completed a round of beta testing in June and July where records from a grant program were updated for the correct address and confirmed or corrected for name, as needed. Scholars piloted its beta with a major west coast public research university. During the beta, Scholars was able to refresh address and name information for hundreds of former students and raised the accuracy of the data from approximately 50% to well over 90%, thereby proving the validity of its process.

Each former grant students’ demographic information is a distinct record. Scholars can electronically process as few as 10 records and scale up to the tens of thousands of records in a particular search event. March of 2008 brings the introduction of Scholars’s new Web site.  Housed on its own private and secured server, the new site offers convenient and secure logon where data can safely be transferred using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).  The new site highlights Scholars’s services and strict security standards along with technical information and company background.  Our News section will inform you of new events in the grant community and keep you up to date about revisions of current services as well as announcements of new services. 

September 1st of 2007 the company established its new corporate headquarters in Folsom California.  Equipped with the latest in communications and data transmission information technologies and 24 hour security, our new location offers us a high tech, secure, and safe environment to perform our security sensitive services 

Andrew Resendez is elected President and becomes CEO of Scholars Information Services, Inc.  His background and leadership will help establish the Company as an essential business partner for the higher education grant community.  In addition, Andrew will lead the work of new business development and assure that all new business is an appropriate fit to its mission of serving the higher education community.
